Diamond Fruit Guide
Overview
Diamond fruit is an Uncommon Natural-type Blox Fruit that allows the user to encase their body in diamond, greatly enhancing defense while enabling heavy-hitting, wide-area attacks. Its transformation-based mechanics emphasize durability and close-range pressure, supported by large hitboxes and blinding effects. While it lacks strong travel options, Diamond offers a stable, defensive playstyle suitable for prolonged engagements and boss encounters.
Abilities
Diamond fruit is ranked T4 on our Fruits Tier List. This ranking is based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: Diamond is a strong PvP fruit with high defense, large hitboxes, and heavy damage. Its transformation based playstyle works well in builds and counters Beast-type fruits, though recent nerfs reduced its dominance.
- PvE: Diamond is serviceable for grinding and boss fights due to its durability and AoE attacks. However, limited mobility and reliance on transformation make it less efficient than top-tier grinding fruits.
How to use Diamond Fruit
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left mouse click | Radiant Lunge | - | The user lunges themselves in the direction of their cursor, damaging any enemies caught in their way. Upon contact with a surface, the tackle creates a crater that explodes with diamonds. |
| [Z] | Encrust | 1 Mastery | The user's skin transforms into solid diamond while growing out two diamond spikes on their back, giving a 23% defense boost. Upon transformation, the user releases a large AoE blast of light. Tapping the move will cause the user to fire diamond shards in all directions. Hold down the move while transformed to untransform. |
| [X] | Shard Storm | 1 Mastery | The user fires a storm of diamond shards from their hands, with the amount of shards fired depending on how long the move is held down for, before releasing a large, final shard that explodes on the opponent, dealing great damage. It shares similar visuals to Ice's Ice Spears and mechanically resembles Tiger's Z move, Finger Revolver, and even comes with the final blast, just like Tiger. |
| [C] | Shimmering Disruption | 80 Mastery | The user uses their body to reflect concentrated light, releasing a large AoE blast of light and dealing medium damage while simultaneously blinding hit enemies for 3 seconds, soft stunning them. This move can be held to slightly increase size and damage. |
| [V] | Prismatic Reflection | 110 Mastery | The user creates a barrage of floating diamond mirrors in the air surrounding themselves. Each mirror releases a blue beam of concentrated light, dealing continuous damage to enemies caught in its radius. |
