Blox Fruits: Empyrean Kitsune Wiki
Empyrean Kitsune Guide
Overview
Empyrean Kitsune is a Mythical Beast-type mutation of the Kitsune fruit in Blox Fruits, added in Update 30's Christmas 2025 event. It upgrades the base fruit with fiery red/orange visuals, extended M1 range (Dragon-like at 3 tails, AoE grab on fourth hit), controllable [Z] Sweeping Firestorm beam (holdable untransformed), modified transformed [Z] animation, and unique cutscene for [C] Burstfire Cannon. For PvP combos and grinding, Empyrean Kitsune is the best item to obtain. You can obtain it from Fox Spirit Bundle (4999 Robux), the post-event shop (2000 Robux with Permanent Kitsune), or Winter Fruit Boxes (Galaxy skin).
Abilities
Empyrean Kitsune is ranked T0 on our
Fruits Tier List. This ranking is
based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: The community considers Empyrean an S tier PvP fruit, Kitsune's upgraded Mythical mutation with extended M1 range/AoE grabs, enhanced Z/C beams/fireballs, 20% DR transformed, and water walking. Superior to base but meter drain/endlag invites counters—untransformed preferred for styles.
- PvE: The community considers Empyrean S-tier PvE dominating grinds with AoE multi-target tick burns, long stuns, high damage bursts, and transformed mobility/DR buffs outperforming base Kitsune on bosses/islands/Sea Events despite water limits.
Moveset, Controls & Mastery Requirements
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left mouse click | Normal Attack | - | The user slashes the air, creating red flame slashes that fly foward. On the fourth slash, the user swipes in a whirlwind style, grabbing any enemies in an extended range into one spot, this move does severely reduced damage to compensate. The last slash has two variations; on the ground, the user swipes downwards, leaving a faint crack for a few moments. In the air, the user kicks the opponent to the ground (Both variations deal the same amount of damage). Once at 3 tails, the slashes will inflict ticking damage and the opponent will be covered in red flames for between 4-5 seconds and the base damage will increase too. Every slash drains the Tails meter by a bit. Jumping right before the final slam or using the M1’s in the air will make the user perform a slash instead of a slam. This attack consumes 7.5% of the visible Tails meter if all 5 M1s are used. |
| [Z] | Sweeping Firestorm | 1 Mastery | This move has two distinct variants: If not held: The user fires a short red fire beam that deals low damage to the target. If held: The user creates a rotating ring of red letters (similar to Fox Lamp Z Move) before firing a red fire beam that deals high damage. (Note: the beam and explosion have separate and equal damage. Both still can deal damage at the same time) This ability can be aimed, however, moves slowly. |
| [X] | Tails of Burning Agony | 50 Mastery | This move does damage in a zig-zag shape, first hitting one corner, then hitting another, and finally hitting the target. This move stun the enemy for ~0.65s. This move consumes 12.5% of the visible Tails meter. This move has two variantions, one hits the oponent in the air and sends them to the floor, and the other hits them on the floor to send them to the air. |
| [C] | Burstfire Cannon | 100 Mastery | The user summons a ball of light red flames and strikes it at the enemy when the key is released. The ball of flames will erupt into a huge explosion, and flames will be present if landed near the ground. These break Instinct. The move deals slightly more damage if it is a direct hit. This move consumes 15% of the visible Tails meter. |
| [V] | Transformation | 300 Mastery | The user transforms into a full Kitsune. The user gains the ability to avoid all basic damage (for one second) while transforming. In total, this move consumes 30% of the visible Tails meter. |
| [F] | Wild Assault | 200 Mastery | The user dashes forward and, if they hit a target, slashes the target with its claws multiple times, similar to a mix of the True Triple Katana and Rengoku's [Z] move and the Kitsune M1's. This move consumes 10% of the visible Tails meter. |
