Werewolf Guide
Overview
Werewolf fruit is a Mythical mutation of Tiger that alters its combat profile by reducing speed and agility in exchange for increased utility and raw damage output. It introduces abilities such as [Z] Finger Revolver, which deals spread damage, and Blazing Form, which restores full health after defeating another player. Werewolf emphasizes sustained pressure, high damage application, and effectiveness against large targets, particularly during prolonged encounters.
Abilities
Werewolf is ranked T1 on our
Fruits Tier List. This ranking is
based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: The community considers Werewolf an S tier PvP fruit as Tiger's Mythical mutation, boasting insanely high damage, spammable mobility bursts, spread AoE like Finger Revolver, and 25% heal on Afterimage Assault for sustain. Outshines base Tiger in chaotic fights but overheat/meter limits extended pressure.
- PvE: The community considers Werewolf excellent PvE as Tiger mutation with spammable high damage AoE, mobility for fast clears, self heals sustaining grinds, and transformation utility rivaling base Tiger for mobs/bosses/Sea Events—doubles down on Tiger's hybrid efficiency.
How to use Werewolf fruit
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left mouse click | Normal Attack | - | The user performs a close-range combo consisting of swings with alternating claws twice, following with a swift kick forward and roaring, dealing high damage in total and breaking Instinct. |
| [Z] | Finger Revolver | 1 Mastery | The user shoots out a larger explosive, purple spectral wolf head. If the move is held, the user shoots out multiple smaller, unstable wolf heads that heat-seek toward enemies and stun them briefly, and finally shoots the larger head. This has larger AoE and range than its untransformed counterpart. |
| [X] | Spiraling Kick | 50 Mastery | This move possesses two distinct variations: On ground: The user performs a 540° kick, creating a vertical forward-spinning, fierce saw-like blade of purple air that drags enemies, breaking Instinct. After the drag, the blade explodes, dealing good damage. This is much faster than its untransformed counterpart. On air: The user performs a 360° tornado kick, creating a horizontal forward-spinning, fierce saw-like blade of purple air that drags enemies, breaking Instinct and exploding into an upward spiral, dealing good damage. This, too, is much faster than its untransformed counterpart. |
| [C] | Afterimage Assault | 100 Mastery | This move possesses two distinct variations: If tapped: The user moves forward in a frenzy, gashing and clawing all that is nearby them, then smashes the ground in a burst of purple flames and energy creating similar rubble to its untransformed counterpart. Using this variation will grant the user a purple fire effect on their body, similar to how Overheat looks, giving the user a 35% speed buff for 3-4 seconds. If held: The user enters a stance under fierce purple aura. Upon release, a cutscene initiates in which the user deals a punch to the gut of the enemy and slashes three times, knocking them away and dealing very high damage. |
| [V] | Transformation | 300 Mastery | The user transforms back into their human form instantly. This reverts the user to their normal state, removing their ability to use Tiger's transformed moves, but in turn restores their ability to use Fighting Styles, Swords, and Guns. Alternatively, if the user's Fire Meter is full, they will transform into their Blazing Form. |
| [F] | Body Flicker | 200 Mastery | This move possesses two distinct variations: If missed: The user teleports multiple times, creating flickering purple afterimages and moving forward instantly. If hit: The user teleports behind the enemy, exactly opposite to the direction they were headed from and punches them in a burst of energy, knocking them far away. This variant is very similar to Yeti's [C] Glacial Execution. |
