Ice Fruit Guide
Overview
Ice fruit is an Uncommon Elemental-type that allows the user to manipulate ice through freezing projectiles, terrain control, and large-area stuns. It also enables water traversal by freezing the sea’s surface. The Ice value lies in its mechanics, which focus on locking down enemies and controlling space. This makes it a solid option for structured, positioning-based combat, where a smart Ice trade can easily set up powerful weapon follow-ups.
Abilities
Ice is ranked T4 on our
Fruits Tier List. This ranking is
based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: Ice is one of the strongest PvP fruits for control, featuring large, easy to land AoE stuns that enable reliable combos. Its ground based freezes are powerful, though opponents who stay airborne can avoid pressure.
- PvE: In PvE, Ice offers excellent utility with consistent stuns, solid damage, and safe mob control. Its ability to freeze water and enemies improves survivability, making grinding and boss fights more stable.
Moveset, Controls & Mastery Requirements
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left mouse click | Normal Attack | - | The user hits enemies with their Ice Trident, dealing damage as a fruit (can hit Blade users). |
| [Z] | Ice Spears | 1 Mastery | The user fires a barrage of ice shards that rapidly travels to the enemy (Does not break Instinct if the projectiles do not touch the ground). This move is very similar to Diamond's X move. |
| [X] | Ice Surge | 25 Mastery | The user stomps and releases a medium-sized surge of ice from the floor below, which deals damage and knocks back anyone it hits (Does not break Instinct). The ice rapidly falls and vanishes within two to three seconds. The ice surge covers a distance of about five to six seconds of walking from its starting point to where it ends. |
| [C] | Ice Bird | 50 Mastery | The user creates a bird made of ice and launches it at where they are aiming, freezing whoever is hit. This move explodes on contact and stuns enemies for 1.5 seconds. |
| [V] | Glacial Epoch | 100 Mastery | The user casts the ground into ice, creating a huge AoE area that freezes and damages enemies. Often used by sword and gun users as their primary combo-starter. This move disables all attacks, dashes, and jumps from both enemies and the user for two seconds. |
