Lightning Fruit Guide
Overview
Lightning fruit is a Legendary Elemental-type Blox Fruit that allows the user to control and transform into lightning. Its abilities include wide-area electrical attacks, fast movement techniques, and multiple stun-based skills. The moveset emphasizes area coverage, disruption, and mobility, supported by Elemental Reflex. Lightning’s attacks often feature large hitboxes and charged effects, enabling sustained pressure across groups of enemies and flexible positioning during combat encounters.
Abilities
Lightning is ranked T1 on our Fruits Tier List. This ranking is based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: Lightning is highly effective in PvP due to its large hitboxes, strong stuns, high damage, and fast movement. Its moves enable consistent pressure and combo potential, though some attacks can be reliant on spam
- PvE: Lightning performs well in PvE with powerful AoE attacks, mobility, and reliable damage output. Its stuns and wide coverage make it suitable for grinding, raids, and large enemy groups.
How to use Lightning fruit
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left mouse click | Power Streak | - | The player continuously shoots out short bursts of lightning that deal low damage and stun. This attack can chain through multiple enemies. When hitting an enemy, your lightning orbs charge significantly faster. |
| [Z] | Lightning Orb | 1 Mastery | This move possesses three variations, each using a certain amount of orbs: If tapped (Z1): The user shoots one of their charged orbs toward the aimed area. Consecutive orbs deal reduced damage. This variation uses 1 orb. If short-held (Z2): Upon holding the move for at least 0.5 seconds, the user creates an electrified sphere and throws it toward the cursor, pulling enemies in before exploding. This variation uses 1 orb. If fully held (Z3): Upon holding the move for at least 1.5 seconds, the user summons an electric dragon. After releasing the move, depending on the situation, one of two variations will occur: If hit: The user launches the dragon forward, which explodes on contact, or when it reaches max distance, dealing decent damage. If used on a group of enemies, the dragon will instead dash between each enemy in a certain area once before finally rising up to the sky and disappears. The latter variant deals slightly less damage and knockback, and sometimes instead gathers the enemies that are hit. If hit (upgraded): If the user comes into contact with an enemy while dashing, the user grabs them, performing a 5-strike combo before knocking them away. |
| [X] | Thunderstorm | 90 Mastery | The user conjures a thundercloud from the sky. Shortly after, lightning bolts start striking the ground, stunning those hit. This move has two variations that can be activated by using [Z] Lightning Orb on the cloud: Z1 (tap): Each orb extends the duration of the ability by around 5 seconds. Z3 (hold): The user summons an electric dragon that bursts out from the cloud and crashes to the ground in the direction of the cursor. When used from higher altitudes, its targeting range increases. |
| [C] | Sky Judgement | 160 Mastery | The user conjures a thundercloud from the sky that shoots down a harmless beam as a warning before discharging electricity in a bigger beam about 0.75s later. Enemies affected are pulled upwards and are stunned for 1 second. |
| [V] | Thunderball Destruction | 250 Mastery | The user compresses multiple clouds into a ball made out of lightning that can be dropped like a bomb. The energy ball expands, before detonating, dealing high damage. Holding the move down consumes orbs and can be charged up to 4 times, increasing the hitbox and damage significantly. |
| [F] | Electric Flash | 30 Mastery | ElectricFlashesF This move possesses two variations: If tapped: The user zaps forward, consuming an orb. Any enemies in the user's way will be briefly stunned and damaged. If held The user performs continuous teleporting strikes if multiple enemies are standing close to each other. |
