Shadow Fruit Guide
Overview
Shadow is a Mythical Natural-type Blox Fruit that grants control over umbral energy and life-draining attacks. Its kit includes a mix of area-based and single-target abilities, focusing on sustain through lifesteal and disruption. Shadow lacks Elemental Immunity and has high mastery requirements, shaping its progression curve. The fruit emphasizes controlled engagements, positioning, and gradual pressure rather than wide multi-target clearing.
Abilities
Shadow is ranked T3 on our Fruits Tier List. This ranking is based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: Shadow is strong in PvP due to its lifesteal, stuns, auto aim attacks, and combo potential. Its high damage allows sustained pressure, making it effective in duels and extended fights.
- PvE: Shadow is serviceable for PvE with limited AoE and strong damage on select moves. However, high mastery requirements and lack of Elemental immunity make it inefficient for early game grinding.
Moveset, Controls & Mastery Requirements
| Controls | Moveset | Mastery Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| [Z] | Somber Rebellion | 1 Mastery | The user turns into a small dark orb of shadow, then dashes towards their cursor. Upon contact with an opponent, the user will turn into a swarm of bats and damage the enemy, then launch themselves upward, leaving the enemy on the ground. The user will receive i-frames during the duration of the move if they land it. This move is similar to Godhuman's Z (Soaring Beast) move. |
| [X] | Shade Nest | 100 Mastery | The user shoots a swarm of bats towards the cursor. Upon surface contact, the swarm will explode, dealing damage and sending a few small bats which will then fly to a nearby enemy and damage them. The bats have slight auto-aim, and will attempt to fly towards the target if close enough. (Note: Multiple bats can attack the same target). |
| [C] | Nightmare Leech | 200 Mastery | The user lunges forward. If the user makes contact with an enemy, the user will regain 20% of their max health and deal good damage to the enemy, knocking them back. This move is similar to Sanguine Art's [Z] (Bloodbane Drain) but the range is shorter and high end-lag. This move has a finisher variant, which makes the victim instantly explode on contact (health must be maximum half the damage of the move to activate). |
| [V] | Corvus Torment | 300 Mastery | The user inflates their body into a giant dark sphere, after which, they will explode, draining the entirety of their Umbra Meter and forming an "umbral" cloud. The explosion will do extreme damage and leave behind a swarm of bats, which will deal passive damage to any enemies inside the cloud. The enemies' vision will also get slightly distorted if they get hit by the explosion. The size of the black hole and explosion is based on how high the user's Umbra Meter is. The remains of the explosion don't really stun. Instead, it pulls the enemies back inside the remains of the move. However, it is possible to escape the explosion's remains using certain teleportation moves. |
| [F] | Umbrage | 50 Mastery | The user transforms into a swarm of bats, giving the user the ability to fly at a medium pace. Flying close to enemies will project bats at them, dealing damage. After 10 seconds, the user will return to normal. Injects 50 bats if fully held. |
