Overview
Spike is a Common Natural-type Blox Fruit that allows the user to deploy spikes at chosen locations and transform their body into spikes for close-range damage. Its abilities are simple and have low mastery requirements, offering multi-target coverage with limited mobility. Spike’s straightforward design supports early progression before transitioning to more versatile fruits.

Spike is ranked T6 on our Fruits Tier List. This ranking is based on player demand, rarity, and overall performance in PvP, PvE grinding, and raids.
- PvP: Spike struggles in PvP due to limited mobility and weak combo potential. While its closed range attacks can threaten inexperienced opponents, most players benefit from choosing fruits with better control and chase tools.
- PvE: For early grinding, Spike can work thanks to low mastery requirements, multi target attacks, and decent AoE. However, it is quickly replaced by fruits with faster clears and stronger scaling.

The longer the ability is held, the bigger the spike gets, as well as summon more smaller spikes around it. Fully charging this skill requires holding the move for 1 second. The maximum amount of spikes summoned by this move is 6. This move is quite similar to awakened Dough's X. |
| [X] | Whirlwind | 20 Mastery | The user rotates their arms in a spinning motion and starts slowly rising up, inflicting damage, and stunning anyone caught in the attack. The longer the move is held, the greater the amount of damage it will deal, the bigger the move's hitbox will get, and the longer the move will last. When tapped, the duration of the move is 1.5 seconds. This move can be held for 3 seconds. |
| [C] | Spiky Ball | 50 Mastery | The user transforms into a spiky ball and starts rolling forward in the direction of the cursor, stunning any enemy they touch and pulling them along as they roll. This move has a duration of 3 seconds. This move shares characteristics with Dough's F move. |
| [V] | Spike Barrage | 75 Mastery | The user conjures a row of spikes in the direction they are facing, each spike being bigger than the last. The damage and the amount of spikes increases the longer the ability is held. Tapping the move will summon 4 spikes, while fully holding the move will summon 7 spikes. Fully charging this skill requires holding the move for 3 seconds. Once released, the direction at which the spikes summon can be controlled by the cursor. |
