The Seal has a unique ability: when you sell pets, there’s a small chance you’ll get the pet back in the form of its egg.

The Sheckle value of pets in Grow a Garden depends on the pet's age and weight. For example, a two-year-old Seal weighing 2.5 kg is valued at 162,224 Sheckles. You can check your pet’s Sheckle value in two ways: 1. Visit Steven, the Seller NPC in the game, and ask for your pet’s price. 2. Use the pet value calculator (https://tradekitsune.com/growagarden/pet-calculator) on this website by entering the pet’s age and weight to get an accurate valuation.

Seal is one of the pets from the Rare Summer Egg. When the Summer Harvest Event launched, the Rare Summer Egg was added to the game and was sold in the Pet Egg Shop. The Common Summer Egg, Rare Summer Egg, and Paradise Egg were removed from the Pet Egg Shop and moved to the Summer Seed Merchant. As of now, you can obtain the Seal from the Summer Seed Merchant or by trading with other players.

In Grow a Garden, a traveling merchant appears beside the seed shop about every four hours, but their arrival is not guaranteed. They only stay for 30 minutes. To find the Summer Seed Merchant, you can check beside the seed shop roughly every four hours.
