Step 1: Get Prepared
To craft the Pet Shard Forger, you will need:
- 1 Gem Egg: Can be crafted at the pet crafting station or purchased from the Pet Egg shop.
- 1 Legendary Coal: Obtained by submitting legendary fruits, pets, or gear during the Smithing event.
- 1 Cleansing Pet Shard: Available for purchase from the Gear Shop.
- 15 million Sheckles: Earn sheckles by selling high-rarity fruits or through gameplay.
Step 2: Craft the Pet Shard Forger
- Go to the Gear Crafting Station located in the Smithing event area.
- Interact with the station and find the recipe for the Forger pet shard.
- Submit all the required materials at once using the provided button.
- Pay the crafting cost of 15 million sheckles.
- Wait for 1 hour while the crafting completes.
- After the timer finishes, collect your Pet Shard Forger from the station.
Step 3: Apply the Forger Mutation
- Use the Pet Shard Forger on any pet in your inventory.
- The pet will gain a powerful passive that automatically visits active crafting tables to speed up their crafting process by about 44.7 seconds every 11 to 12 minutes.
- This makes long crafting sessions significantly faster, especially beneficial during the event.
Step 4: Optimize Your Brewing
Use pets with the Forger mutation to reduce crafting times on pets, gear, plants, and cosmetics. The mutation doesn’t affect plant mutations, so you may want to switch to other mutations once the event ends.
