Chimera Traits Explained
The Chimera is a Divine-tier pet introduced during the Trader Event in Grow a Garden. It combines the abilities of the Lion, Goat, and Sand Snake—each contributing unique bonuses.
Lion Traits
- Lion Call: Every 13:20–3:20 minutes, the Chimera roars, calling all your garden pets to move toward it. The total cooldown (400–800 seconds) is distributed across each pet, with a maximum of 60–120 seconds per pet.
- King of the Safari: Every 23:20–6:40 minutes, the Chimera roars again, mutating fruits in your garden up to the number of Safari-type pets you have. Each receives a random Safari Mutation.
Goat Trait
- Ram: Occasionally charges at a random player, knocking and launching them away.
Sand Snake Trait
- Duplication: When purchasing from the Seed or Gear Shop, there’s a 1.45% chance the bought item will be duplicated.
How to Get the Chimera Stone
The process of obtaining the Chimera is quite special. Before performing the ritual to summon it, players must first acquire the Chimera Stone. The Chimera Stone must be crafted.
Step 1: Go to the COSMETICS / CRAFTING Counter near the Gear Shop.
Step 2: Use the workbench on the right side to view the recipe:
- Mythical Egg ×1
- Bug Egg ×1
- Jungle Egg ×1
- Gem Egg ×1
- 500M Sheckles
Step 3: Collect all the listed materials.
Step 4: Submit everything and craft the Chimera Stone. The process takes about one hour.
How to Summon the Chimera
Players need to do a ritual to get a Chimera. Once you have the Chimera Stone, follow these steps:
Step 1: Equip three pets
In your garden, equip these pets: the Goat, the Lion, and the Emerald Snake.
Step 2: Equip lights
Equip four light sources in your garden. Event Lanterns from the Shop work perfectly.
Step 3: Start the ritual
Equip a Wooden Table. A pop-up will appear prompting you to craft the Chimera pet.
Step 4: Claim the Chimera
Click Confirm, and the Divine tier Chimera will appear in your inventory.
Crafting the Chimera takes significant time and resources. Since some ingredients are event-exclusive, it may be easier and faster to trade for one instead.
