Advent Calendar

Availability: Active for 19 days, with new content released daily.

Just like a traditional Advent Calendar, the Grow a Garden version helps players count down to Christmas and build festive excitement. Each day, new Advent Calendar tasks will appear in-game. Complete the daily task to earn that day's reward. On the final day, players can obtain a special Gingerbread Blossom Seed.

Players can visit the Christmas Harvest board in the main lobby to submit crops featuring the Christmas mutation in the right panel. As the community's total Gifts Given points reach certain milestones, new gift rewards will be unlocked.

What’s New in Grow a Garden Christmas Event Part 1

Part 1 of the Christmas update centers on the Christmas Harvest hub in the middle of the lobby, covered in snow and packed with elves, a sleigh full of presents, and new festive weather events. The event runs for several weeks in December and adds limited-time rewards, new pets, seeds, weather events, and shop items that are only available while the Christmas event is live.​

• Christmas Harvest Hub: Central lobby area with elves collecting Christmas-mutated plants for Santa; submit for individual gifts and community "Gifts Given" progress.​

Step-by-Step Guide to Grow a Garden Christmas Harvest Event

To fully participate in the Christmas Harvest event, from setup to maximizing rewards, you should:

• Locate the event area: Head to the center of the lobby, now covered in snow, or use the Event Lantern for quick teleport to the Christmas Harvest hub with elves and Santa's sleigh.​
• Talk to the elf NPC: Approach the elf in front of the massive stash of presents on the sleigh and press E to interact, opening dialogue options that explain the event and submission process.​
• Wait for Christmas weather: Every 10 minutes on average, a server-wide Christmas-themed weather event triggers, mutating your plants with effects like Frozen, Chilled, Ornamented, Sub-zero, or Snowy—plant diverse crops across plots to increase mutation chances.​
• Harvest mutated plants: Pick Christmas-mutated fruits from your garden; higher rarities give more progress toward the 200-point personal bar than commons (1 point).​
• Submit to Present NPC: Return to the elf, select the submission option, and turn in your mutated plants to advance your personal meter and the server-wide Gifts Given total, earning a random present immediately upon filling the bar.​
• Gift presents to players: Use received presents on other players in the lobby to boost community Gifts Given milestones faster, unlocking Santa’s Stash items like pets and weather events for everyone.​
• Shop at Santa’s Stash: Visit the shop near the sleigh (initial 60-minute cooldown, reducible via milestones) to buy unlocked rewards such as Gift Rat (20K points), Penguin (5.8M points), or items like Yule Log and Christmas Crate.​
• Progress Season 3 pass: Complete daily quests from harvesting and event play to climb the 50-tier track for extra seeds, pets, and cosmetics alongside your Harvest grinding.​
• Check Advent Calendar: Interact daily with Presentina (opposite the Harvest area) for 19 days of missions; complete all for a Gingerbread Blossom seed, recoverable with Robux if missed.​
• Optimize with tips: Diversify plots (rarer plants in small areas or masses of commons), use stealing pets like Raccoon for extra fruits, and join active servers to hit milestones quicker.​

How to Contribute to Grow a Garden Christmas Harvest Event

• Teleport to the central event map.
• Talk to the elf to open the interface
• Submit Christmas-mutated plants to the Present NPC for Christmas presents.

Each submitted fruit advances the personal progress bar and also adds to the server-wide Gifts Given total, with higher rarities giving more points:

How to Get Christmas Mutations in Christmas Harvest

Christmas mutations appear during periodic Christmas-themed weather events that hit your server roughly every 10 minutes. When this winter weather starts, plants in your garden can gain special festive mutations that count for the event.​

The confirmed Christmas mutations you should look for include:

• Frozen
• Chilled
• Ornamented
• Sub-zero
• Snowy

Any plant with one of these mutations and any rarity can be turned in for points, with rarer plants giving more progress toward your 200‑point reward bar each cycle.​

How to Get Rewards in Grow a Garden Christmas Harvest

You earn two main types of rewards:

• individual gift rolls
• community milestone unlocks

Individually, every time you fill your 200‑point bar by turning in Christmas-mutated plants, you get a random present with the following chances:

Normal Present 40%

Christmas Present 25%

Rare Present 15%

Santa’s Surprise Present 15%

Bad Present 5%

Santa’s Surprise Present has the best loot, including seeds like Cookie Stack, Poinsettia, Antlerbloom, Holy Berry and pets such as Snow Bunny, French Hen, Christmas Gorilla, and Krampus with strong seasonal abilities. At the same time, all Gifts Given contribute to community milestones that unlock things like Gift Rat and Penguin pets in Santa’s Stash, weather events such as Snow Day, Festive Night, Milk and Cookies, and upgrades like reduced Stash cooldowns and special items (Yule Log, Christmas Crate, Santa’s Stocking, Mega Lollipop, Pet Shard HyperHunger).​

How Does Santa’s Stash Work in Grow a Garden

Santa’s Stash is a special Christmas shop located right in front of the Christmas Harvest area, near the sleigh and elf NPC. It sells limited items like Christmas Firework, Gift Basket, Penguin pet, Santa’s Stockings, and more, many of which only appear after the community hits specific “Gifts Given” milestones.​

As the global Gifts Given counter climbs, new gear, pets, items, and even weather events are added or unlocked in Santa’s Stash, and some rewards also reduce the shop’s cooldown from 60 minutes down to 45 and then 30 minutes. This means the whole playerbase benefits when everyone keeps contributing and gifting.

How to contribute to the Christmas Event 2

Every ~10 minutes, a Christmas or cold weather phase (Chilled, Frozen, Glacial, Snowy, Arctic, Peppermint, Ornamented, Eggnog, Blizzard, etc.) rolls through the server and can give your plants special Christmas mutations such as Snowy, Snowtouched, Ornamented, Arctic, and GiantGolem. During or shortly after these phases, harvest the mutated fruits and submit them to the Present/Elf NPC on the Christmas platform to push the event progress bar and earn gifts.

To maximize your contribution in the Christmas Event Part 2:

1. Fill your plot with many fast‑growing crops so you have a lot of fruits ready each time Christmas weather hits . Mutated fruits and higher‑rarity plants usually give more points during submission.

2. Use duplication or mutation‑spread pets to boost your Christmas Platform progress faster. For fruit duplication or mutation-boost, we recommend pets like Red Giant Ant, Giant Ant, Tiger, and Stegosaurus.

Random Christmas Gifts spawn every 10 mintues in the Christmas Event Part 2. Rare-rarity gifts need more contributions to unlock:

• Common Gift (60 points to unlock, 52.63% chance)
• Rare Gift (87.5 points to unlock, 26.32% chance)
• Mythical Gift (125 points to unlock, 13.16% chance)
• Gold Gift (175 points to unlock, 5.26% chance)
• Rainbow Gift (225 points to unlock, 2.63% chance)

Each gift tier can contain Christmas-themed eggs, gears, and items. Noted that higher‑tier gifts (Mythical, Gold, Rainbow) have better odds for Christmas Eggs. The Christmas Egg’s obtaining chance from a Rainbow Gift is up to 50%.

Three ways to obtain a Christmas Egg in Grow a Garden:

Method 1: Advent Calendar

The Day-9 mission reward is Christmas Egg x7. If you missed, recover the mission with 49 Robux.

Method 2: Christmas Gifts

Each of your submissions to the central Christmas Platform brings you a random Christmas Gift: Common Gift (52.63% chance), Rare Gift (26.32% chance), Mythical Gift (13.16% chance), Gold Gift (5.26% chance), and Rainbow Gift (2.63% chance). The Christmas Egg hatches in 4 hours and 10 minutes, yielding pets: Turtle Dove (50%), Reindeer (30%), Nutcracker (18.5%), Yeti (1%), and Ice Golem (0.5%).

Method 3: Purchasing

The Limited Time Shop offers Premium Christmas Eggs, Festive Premium Christmas Eggs, and Exotic Santa's Surprise Presents during the Christmas Event time. How to Farm Christmas Eggs in Grow a Garden

The Christmas Egg is a limited divine egg added in Christmas Event Part 2 and is primarily obtained from Christmas gifts.

1. Wait for snowfall weather, grow and harvest mutated fruits, then submit them to fill the gift bar.

2. There are chances to drop Christmas Eggs when opening a gift.

3. Continue this cycle across multiple weather rotations to stack many gifts and increase your odds at multiple Eggs.

How to Use Reindeer in Grow a Garden

Reindeer is a Legendary Christmas Egg pet. Get eight lv.100 Reindeers, and you can drive a "Rudolph" like Santa,  crossing the whole garden at a fast speed.

How to Get Ice Golem in Grow a Garden

Ice Golem is a new Prismatic pet debuts with the release of Christmas Event Part 2. Three ways to obtain an Ice Golem in Grow a Garden:

Method 1: Trading

To get an Ice Golem from the Farmers Market, you need to prepare at least 265 tokens (Ice Golem's Average Token Price, 1 kg at age 1).

Method 2: Hatching

Obtain Christmas Eggs from Event Gifts, then hatch until you hit the correct roll. (The hatch chance for an Ice Golem from a Christmas Egg is 0.5%.)

Method 3: Purchasing

The Limited Time Shop offers Premium Christmas Eggs, Festive Premium Christmas Eggs, and Exotic Santa's Surprise Presents during the Christmas Event time. All Christmas mutations in Grow a Garden are tied to winter weather, pets, and event tools. All the winter mutations (Christmas mutations) included in the Christmas update include old weather like:

When a server rolls a winter-type weather, your planted crops have a chance to gain specific mutations on their fruits.

How to Progress the Christmas Gift Event Faster

-Every 12 minutes, Penguin belly-slides across fruits in your garden, applying the Arctic mutation to random fruit.

-Frost Dragon converts nearby Frozen mutations to Glacial every 9 minutes, grants XP to all other pets per conversion (up to 10k max), and gives a 6-14% chance for Glacial fruit sales to spread a random mutation.

Previous Pets for Faster Fruit Harvesting

-Tiger roars every ~8 min replaces 3 random fruit mutations (ignores favorites).

-Swan converts nearby Wet/Drenched fruits to Frozen every ~10 min.

-Giant Ant copies a random fruit every ~15 min, duplicating mutations for event farming.

-Open every gift you earn (from Common to Rainbow) and interact with new event items (Candy Cane, Christmas gear, etc.) to trigger their related mini achievements.

-Check the achievements/quest panel regularly so you can see which Christmas‑tagged goals remain and focus your farming (fast crops plus snow weather for more mutations).

What to Prepare for the Christmas Event Part 3?

Before diving into Christmas Event 3, set up your garden and inventory so you can farm Christmas resources efficiently. To earn Wonder Water and event rewards much faster, you should:

Wendigo is a new divine pet from Winter Eggs in Part 3 of the Christmas event.

How to Contribute to the Christmas Tree?

The Christmas Event Part 3 is also called the Christmas Tree Event, where you grow a Christmas Tree in your own garden and increase its weight to unlock Christmas-limited eggs, seeds, and items.

All your contributions revolve around the Christmas Tree, plants with Christmas-themed mutations, and the Wonder Watering Cans. Plant your Christmas Tree seed in your plot, then focus on farming Christmas-mutated plants; harvest them and submit them at the event’s watering-can NPC in the lobby to convert them into progress.

​How to Get Christmas Tree Seed?

• ​Head to the Christmas Platform in the central map
• There's a "Claim Seed" interactive button next to the floating Wonder Water item.
• Press "E" to claim the Christmas Tree seed.
• Once claimed, plant the seed in your garden and start collecting Wonder Water items to grow up your tree.

​How to Get Wonder Water Items?

Wonder Watering Can grows your tree’s weight and is earned by submitting Christmas-mutated plants and fruit. For every 200 points from submitted Christmas plants, you receive one Wonder Watering Can.

-Fill your backpack with plants and fruit with winter-themed mutation(s), e.g., Snowy, Frozen, Chilled, Peppermint, Glacial, Ornamented, and Sub-zero.

-Go to the central Christmas Platform, interact with the Wonder Water Item to "Submit All" Christmas-mutated fruit and plants to fill the progress bar.

-Every 200 points submission will reward you with a Wonder Watering Can.

-Open your Inventory, search for "Wonder Water," and you can check how many Wonder Water uses you have.

Repeat this loop to stockpile Wonder Watering Cans and rapidly increase your tree’s weight.

Tips to boost your Christmas Tree event progress

1. Higher-rarity plants contribute more points.

2. Plants with multiple Christmas mutations or high-multiplier mutations contribute more points.

3. Winter-related weather happens frequently during peak hours: e.g., 9-11 AM and 5-9 PM.

4. Your fruit grows offline. Remember to harvest your Christmas plant from time to time.

5. "Submit All" 4-5 times to clear your inventory and repeat this loop to collect your Wonder Water Items.

6. Put Peppermint-mutated pets in the garden. They add peppermint mutations to plants.

7. Make use of your Frozen/Peppermint pets and new Christmas pets with Christmas mutation skills.

The heavier your tree, the better the rewards you get when you are finally allowed to harvest it. The harvest is time-gated, so the goal is to stack as much weight as possible before the deadline.

• Talk to Lumberjack Larry > click "View Rewards" > go to "Reward List" > preview every achievement gift and see how much weight you should aim for to reach the best prize tier.

Grow your Christmas Tree to 6kg, and you can claim a Christmas Tree Reward. Interact with the Elf NPC and "Claim" all the Christmas Tree Rewards instantly.
